SELF-ORGANISED SYMPOSIA:

2017 Curating in the Dark, Artsadmin, London

Notes by the venue: CURATING IN THE DARK is a performance lecture curated by Dr Lee Campbell which explores the alternative realities created through visual impairment.

Lee shares his experience of working with persons with visual impairment, including a recent residency developed through the Open Lab scheme at Barbican Guildhall. Lee’s lecture is punctuated by artist Adrian Lee, performing an iteration of his FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) series of artworks. A panel discussion ends the evening with speakers including Dr Simon Hayhoe, the UK’s leading expert in art education and visual impairment.
